The promise

We never train AI on your screenplay.Not your scenes, not your treatment, not your synopses or notes, not your conversations with Nisaba — and not AI-drafted text once it's part of your script. Not verbatim, not "anonymized," not in aggregate.

When AI features need outside models, we send your content only to providers whose terms, published data-use commitments, or settings on our account exclude it from model training. The Privacy Policy names each provider and what that rests on. Providers may still process or retain requests for safety, security, abuse prevention, debugging, legal compliance, or service operation under their own terms; that is different from model training.

What “never” covers

• Every word of every scene, treatment, outline, synopsis, and note.
• AI-drafted text after you accept it. Once it's in your script, it's your script.
• Everything you say to Nisaba, and everything Nisaba says back.
• Mathematical representations of your text (embeddings). We use them for search and continuity inside your project, and never for model training.

What we do collect

Structure and choice signals: the shape of your work and your choices — never the words:

• Structure — counts, such as how many scenes your draft has.
• Decisions — milestones like exporting a draft, and in which format.

Numbers and decisions, never prose. These signals are linked to your account and used only in aggregate. None of it can be reversed back into your writing.

Separately, Nabu keeps short notes about how you like to work, drawn from your conversations with Nisaba, and uses them in your later requests. You can review them in Settings and remove individual entries; a summary made from earlier entries can keep informing responses after an entry is removed.

Why we collect it

It's how Nabu gets better at the job — for you and for every writer here. Knowing, across all writers, how drafts grow and how often they reach an export tells us whether the craft guidance is working, and none of it needs a line of anyone's script. Your words stay yours; your choices make the tool smarter.

Your controls

• Turn signal collection off any time in Settings — one checkbox. It covers the signals above, not ordinary usage data or the record of your decisions that Nabu keeps so the product works, such as which suggestions you accepted.
• Your work is portable — export Fountain, Final Draft (FDX), or PDF.

The fine print, honestly

This page isn't marketing copy layered over different legal terms — the Privacy Policy says the same thing with the lawyer hat on. If we make a material change to this promise, we will tell you through Nabu, by email, or another reasonable way. We will never start training on your creative content by quietly editing a document.
